The Dresden History Room
Welcome to the

Dresden History Room

Floor Plan

This room (in the lean-to addition built on site after the house's other components were moved to this location) has been given to the Dresden Village Historian for local history purposes. In addition, a private office and workroom upstairs have been made available for the local historian's work.

Highlights in this view include (top center) U.S. Navy signal flags from World War II, brought home by a Dresden-resident veteran; (top right) a model of the birthplace created by a high school student as part of a history project; and (center) the hand-stenciled sign that marked the Dresden post office until the middle 1990s.
